Of the three botanicals in BreathiZen®, organic lemon is the one we're most upfront about: it's here mainly for taste. That might sound like a small thing. It isn't.

Why taste matters so much

A daily supplement only does anything if you take it daily. And one of the most common reasons people abandon a routine is simple — they don't enjoy it. Bitter herbal teas get skipped. Chalky powders get pushed to the back of the pantry.

Organic lemon gives BreathiZen® a bright, clean citrus flavor that balances ginger's warmth and mullein's earthy notes. The result is something most people genuinely look forward to, which is the whole ballgame when it comes to consistency.

What about vitamin C?

You may have seen lemons linked to lung health. There's real research behind that connection: researchers tracking thousands of adults have noticed that the ones with vitamin C-rich diets tend to score a little higher on breathing tests. In the Dutch MORGEN study, for example, people with the highest vitamin C intake had modestly better scores on a standard breathing test than those with the lowest.

Why we don't make that claim

That research is about eating plenty of fruits and vegetables over many years — not the small amount of lemon extract in a daily spray. It also found vitamin C was linked to lung function measurements, not to most breathing symptoms. So we don't claim the lemon in BreathiZen® does anything for your lungs. It's here to make your ritual taste great.

Want the vitamin C benefit?

Eat the fruit. Oranges, strawberries, bell peppers, broccoli and kiwi are all excellent sources. Your whole body will thank you, and it costs less than any supplement.
